ExxonMobil Campus Concerts

Established since 1986, the ExxonMobil Campus Concerts (EMCC) has set the stage for student talents and professional artistes to reach out to audiences on and off the NUS campus. EMCC has been one of the most successful programmes introduced by CFA, maintaining its identity as a free-admission outreach platform featuring student talents and professional artists.

The performance by NUSPE is a regular highlight every October for the Exxonmobil Campus These concerts have received raving reviews about the myriad of repertoires presented. Under Tapestry 2008, NUSPE boldly engaged the audience through a repertoire that spans across ethnicities and borders, including the Russian and Chinese dances of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Hungarian Dances by Brahms, and the Warsaw Concerto by Addinsell. In 2009, Appassionata, staged by NUSPE continued to delight the audience with its diverse programme, featuring Bizet’s fanciful Children’s Games as well as the raucous Tom and Jerry Show for solo piano.
